The challenge Verizon Wireless set forth was to create a call center focused on employee retention. A typical call center can become a sea of cubicles with drab finishes, and poor lighting resulting in a high turnover rate. The concrete warehouse provided a site allowing the designers a clean slate in which to provide partial height walls, open and floating ceilings, efficient lighting and bold colors. From this pallette was created a space that motivates and excites thus resulting in improved employee productivity. |
